VOICE TEST
[Whatever circumstances put you into this situation must have really sucked, because right now? You're basically in the middle of nowhere, with heavy snowfall verging on a blizzard, with no reliable way out of this mess. There's no sign of shelter anywhere, and you're in the mountains for fuck's sake. Maybe you can find some trees to hang out under...?
...Are those wolves howling? Seriously, why are even wolves out in this weather?]
((or you know whatever you wanna play follow your dreams))

currently human-shaped—mostly because he doesn't want to borrow trouble by bothering that wolf pack—but he's rapidly starting to rethink that decision, even as he starts working on digging out a hollow in the snow with his hands. he doesn't really have any body heat left to try to conserve, but at least if he gets deep enough he'll stop getting snowflakes in his eyes. ]

Chris definitely can only feel the presence of wolves, but there's a flash of red in the flurrying snow, a dark shape topped with that vivid color, taller than the wolves that come in and out of view through the gusts of snow, and it disappears almost long enough for Chris to think he hadn't seen anything of the sort.
Then a person bounds up, wearing a TRULY MASSIVE wolf pelt and otherwise kind of underdressed for the weather. At least they'd deigned to actually wear their top properly given the snow, so it's not just bundled around their waist with their arms and shoulders exposed.]
You're not from around here! Need shelter?
[the wolves are creeping closer, shapes becoming clearer as they near, though there's no sense of hostility. ...Actually, there's still no sense of there being a person here at all. Even the redhead feels like a beast.]
no subject
If your friends wouldn't mind the intrusion, sure. Digging a hole for yourself is more fun when the snow's already settled.

he will miss the ramen though. it is not quite the same anymore.
he inclines his head towards the sound of the wolves, listening, the glow of his visor flickering with every bit of snow flurry raining down over his head.
it isn't more than a second longer before he begins making his way towards the noise, footsteps silent even as he steps over the thick, heavy snow underfoot. ]

...Wolves appear to be play-fighting in the snow just outside a cave mouth. Not only that, but there's a person flopped in the pile of playful wolves, laughing clear and bright, wearing a massive wolf pelt and somehow clearly treated as one of their own.
If he comes too close, though, one of the wolves will notice and tense, putting the whole pack on alert.]
no subject
but then he doesn't. because there is no blood, there is joy, and laughter, and he thinks perhaps the situation is not what it appears to be.
his footsteps take him closer to the wolf-pile regardless, and when one of the creatures looks up, only then does he pause - but with his attention fixed solely on the only human here. ]

is what her first thought is but she doesn't quite say that, that would be rude. instead she gasps, relieved at the sight of a person in this weather, though her gaze does flicker "nervously" to the wolves around them. ]
Y -- yes, that would be ... great.

if he keeps drawing closer, he may find a pile of wolves play-fighting among the trees, accompanied by... a red-headed woman wearing a wolf pelt? she's right in the thick of it, too, rolling with them and laughing, pinning one of her companions with great effort.]

waiting until a distraction wouldn't throw the wrestling match one way or another before barking once, the sort of greeting a packmate would make to another rather than a noise of warning. as far as he's concerned, they may as well be siblings rather than strangers. ]

but this hotel rubs him the wrong way. he keeps catching flashes of unreality in the corners of his eyes. it has his hackles up. whiiiich is a bad place to be, emotionally, with his background. which is how a single wrong move leads to Sudoh pinning another customer to the floor, a pair of chopsticks just a hair from their eyeball.]

and they don't usually threaten to stab people?? which is why there's no security to go rushing to peel Sudoh off the poor, now wisely fainted customer. instead it's the concierge that suddenly appears at Sudoh's side]
